Density-dependent and geographical variation in bird immune response
Article Abstract:
A study of the T-cell mediated immune response in various altricial bird species helps in understanding the latitudinal differences in population density that highly affect immune responses. The analysis reveals that the birds in areas with higher density give more resources to immune response, hence proving that the density and immune response have a positive relationship between them.

A mechanistic examination of diversity-stability relationships in annual plant communities
Article Abstract:
The relationship between temporal stability of natural summer and winter annual plant communities and community richness at spatial scales of 0.25 m(super 2) and 0.25 ha is investigated. Diverse communities exhibit greater stability due to the presence of a greater abundance of individuals (overyielding effect).

Multiple scales and the relationship between density and Cin littoral zone communities
Article Abstract:
The cross-scale spatial patterning (aggregation and density levels) of littoral-benthic invertebrates in very large lakes is examined. The reinterpretation of the positive range-abundance relationship in terms of the actual spatial structure of species distributions is discussed.
