Article Abstract:

The environmental impacts of the hydrological and geomorphologic consequences of diversion of water within the Mkuze Wetland are investigated. A study on the Mpempe-Demazane Canal reveals that although ambitious and costly, it resulted in little downward or headward erosion, and there was minor diversion of flow.
