Ecological restoration and land reclamation in open-cast mines in Shanxi Province, China
Article Abstract:
China's mining industry, although economically valuable, is a large producer of derelict land, polluted water and soil erosion. Because of the short supply of land in China, the policy is to reclaim and restore it. A new study investigates the mechanisms and principles of ecological restoration in China's Shanxi Province.
