Article Abstract:
The relationship between the importance of an environmental value and the purchase of everyday food and household products were studied. The results indicate that people may be somewhat or even strongly concerned about the environment and may even express a general positive attitude towards acting in a more environmentally friendly way but yet, they do not choose an environmentally friendly alternative at specific choice points in everyday life.
