Inference form plant competition experiments: the effects of spatial covariance
Article Abstract:
An attempt is made to understand and possibly to predict the formation of plant community structures by drawing two-species plant competition experiments. The effect of spatial covariance in plant competition experiments on the inferred ecological conclusions is demonstrated.

Shrubs, granivores and annual plant community stability in an arid ecosystem
Article Abstract:
The influence of inter-specific interactions such as facilitation and granivory on population synchrony and community stability is discussed. The stability of shrubs, granivores and annual plant community in an arid ecosystem is presented.
