Minimizing waste in the food and drink sector: using the business club approach to facilitate training and organizational development
Article Abstract:
The implementation and evaluation of a programme of waste minimization in the food and drink sector, which dominates the economy of East Anglia, is described using the business club approach. It is found out that the training and development programme was successful in challenging, reducing and overcoming the barriers to waste minimization amongst the participating companies.

Potentially useful oxidation process for disposing laboratory wastewaters is presented. This process is developed on the bases of surface response techniques that use Fenton's reagent for water treatment.
