Modeling dry weather wastewater flow in sewer networks
Article Abstract:
The combination of hydraulic design between drainage and sanitary sewers produces a diurnal flow pattern that cannot be solved by traditional methods. A computer-generated FLUSH model that is based on peak flow and mean flow provides wider parameters than traditional peak flow designs. A transition between peak building drainage discharge and sewerage peak flow was formed but the model is not an adequate solution for drain/sewer methodology.
