Article Abstract:
Potentilla is a deciduous perennial herb with woody and short branches that grows small, pink shoot buds and adventitious roots. It is commonly found in mountain areas or in herbaceous communities, particularly on the edges of moving and grazing lands. It thrives in base-rich soils, but some species can also live in acidic and calcareous soils. Plants can be propagated through seeds and has a relatively high survival rate.

Lychnis viscaria L. (Viscaria vulgaris Bernh.)
Article Abstract:
Lychnis viscaria is a perennial herb widely found in Central Europe, but in disjunct populations in the UK, with an altitudinal range between 100 m. to as high as 1,800 m. It grows best in slopes that are unshaded or lightly shaded by sparse canopy and occurs over a wide range of rock types including shale, sandstone and limestone and on tuffs of basic and intermediate igneous rocks in certain areas in the UK.

A description is presented on Veronica spicata, a subgenus of Pseudolysimachium, a perennial herb. Attributes include decussate leaves and corolla violet-blue flowers, and usually populates dry grasslands and regions of limestone rock.
