Representing dynamic uncertainty in climate policy deliberations
Article Abstract:
The major concerns about the uncertainty in understanding the climate systems by the policy makers are discussed, which include the continuous dependence on the cost-benefit approach to organize their ideas, the embedded acceptance of the notion that uncertainty will decrease with time and the continuous negligence of change as an alternative to uncertainty. It is concluded that uncertainty is the reason and mitigation and adaptation are the tools of the policy makers to treat the problem.

Azerbaijan: environmental conditions and outlook
Article Abstract:
An overview is presented on the current environmental status of Azerbaijan, along with an assessment of the nation's potential for remediation. Deforestation, poor drinking water quality, overfishing, and pollution are the primary problems. Existing legislation and activism may foster ecological improvements; poverty and low government prioritization may hinder these improvements.
