Thirty years of land-cover change in Bolivia
Article Abstract:
A study on land-cover change due to massive deforestation in the 1970s in lowland tropical Bolivia is presented. Though, Bolivia is the recipient of numerous initiatives designed to manage the environmental and social impacts of development, it has had a limited success because regulatory mechanisms lack economic incentives.

Article Abstract:
The policy instruments such as individual quotas, labeling, and marine reserves for the overfishing of the seas are described. The main reason behind the collapse of world wide marine resource is overexploitation that has resulted in only 10% of fish biomass of pre-industrial levels.
