The concept of Adaptive Environment Planning (AEP) is recommended as a use for long duration of planning. The five criteria that AEP calls for including the environment related limit criterion, the legal effect criterion, the adaptivity criterion, the hierarchy criterion, the development criterion are briefly explained.

The impact of fisheries on the dynamics of commercial fish species in Barents Sea and the Sea of Azov, Russia: a historical perspective
Article Abstract:
An overview of the development of fisheries over the last 100 years in the two Russian seas, the Barents and the Azov Sea is presented. The decreasing fish catch in the Russian seas has become a concern for the Russian Federation, and revised policies for the management of the Russian fisheries is introduced.

Fisheries in Chilika lake: How community access and control impacts their management

The deteriorating status of fisheries in Chilika Lake in India is studied. It is proposed to legitimize community access to successfully manage the fisheries.
