Construction: while this year won't top 1998's showing, the sector is looking to build another strong performance
Article Abstract:
The construction business experienced its best year in 1998, and 1999 may fall a little below the 1998 figures. Revenues increased 24% over 1997 for the average construction firm. Revenues of $30.42 million were reported by the average building company. Increasing materials costs and decreasing numbers of skilled workers are expected to negatively impact 1999 performances.
