Spicing it up
Article Abstract:
Therapist nurse Sue Bentley began writing erotic novels in the late 1980s, although she received little success until she was signed to Richard Branson's Virgin Black Lace label in 1992. Bentley writes under the name of Cleo Cordell and gets inspiration for her characters from people she has seen and met in her job as a nurse. Bentley will be leaving her career as a nurse in September 1997, claiming changes in the NHS and her interest in complementary medicine have persuaded her to retire early.
