Article Abstract:
Bordeaux wines of vintage 1961 were rated through a tasting organized by physicist and wine collector Bipin Desai. Ratings the wines achieved range from 98 to 55. Many were outstanding in quality, while many of the less expensive wines had lost their flavor due to age.

Inglenook's winemaking legacy
Article Abstract:
Gustave Niebaum founded the Napa Valley winery in 1879 and commissioned architect William Mooser to build the facility. The winery was closed during Prohibition. Heublein has owned the property for many years and will now sell it to Francis Ford Coppola.

Chappellet's silver celebration
Article Abstract:
The 25th anniversary of this family-run winery was a party attended by Dinah Shore, Wolfgang Puck and other luminaries. Jeremiah Tower prepared the dinner. A history of the winery is presented, along with the results of a vertical tasting of its wines.
