Ernest Gallo describes how he and his brother built a dynasty from the winery they founded in 1933. Gallo believes that his pursuit of perfection has led to the constant improvements of the wines that his winery has produced. He never doubted that the wine products would be successful, and is pleased that the high-end wines have been received so well.

Remembering one of wine's greatest men

Julio Gallo, who died in an automobile accident on May 2, 1993, was one of the wine world's major leaders. He and his brother Ernest had a long career in winemaking, and they succeeded in making very fine wines. Their Cabernet and Chardonnay were excellent.
