Boutique Sensation: a vertical tasting of Spottswoode Cabernets reveals a small-production wine that's eminently collectible

Spottswoode Vineyard and Winery in Napa, CA, is a boutique winery. Jack and Mary Novak bought a house that had a 40-acre vineyard in 1972 and produced the first vintage in 1982. The Novak's interest in wine and wine making was aroused and the two replanted and grafted the vineyard to produce grapes for Cabernet Sauvignon. Tastings of the wine reveal their superior qualities.

Magnums make a difference
