Chianti wines that are expected to age well are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. The 1985, 1988, 1990, 1993 and 1994 vintages are represented. A 1994 Fattoria di Falsina Chianti Classico Riserva at $35 is rated 92.

Nine producers of top Chianti wines tasted several vintages of their Classico riservas. Many held up surprisingly well, with 1985 vintages scoring in the good and excellent categories. Wines are rated on a scale of one to 100.
