Ornellaia: this Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignon has proved itself in just 10 years

Tenuta del'Ornellaia began producing Cabernet Sauvignon in 1985 in Tuscany's Bolgheri region. Owner Lodovico Antinori has hired talented winemakers and produces about 15,000 cases of excellent Cabernet each year. The Antinori family has been making wine for six centuries.

Franco Biondi-Santi's owns the estate at which the first vintage of Biondi-Santi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva was produced in 1988. Only 600 cases of this popular wine are produced each year. The 1990 vintage is the best in recent years.
