Tasting notes are provided for four wines, rated on a scale of one to 100. A 1989 Domaine du Puget Cabernet Sauvignon Vin de Pays de l'Aude at $5 is rated 83. A 1988 Chateau Pech de Jammes Cahors at $10 is rated 81. Two Rhone whites are also rated.

Red wines of France, primarily Burgundy, are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes provided. A 1989 Romanee-Conti of the same name is rated 97 at $850 a bottle. Other Romanee-Conti wines of the 1989 vintage also rate very highly.
