Oregon's Classic Wines Auction tops itself again

The 15th annual Classic Wines Auction in Portland, Oregon, raised $731,000 for Portland's Metropolitan Family Service. It was the most money that the auction has ever raised, thanks to wine contributions of numerous wineries and winemaking families. Popular items at the auction were vacation or dining packages that included classic wines.

KCBX event eclipses last year's auction proceeds by $75,000

The 15th annual KCBX Central Coast Wine Classic raised $753,455 for the Northern California public radio station. Besides wine, vacation and dinner packages were also auctioned off. The proceeds broke previously established records by $75,000.
