Revving up Villa Mt. Eden

Stimson Lane, the parent company of Villa Mt. Eden, will infuse cash into the winemaking efforts of the small winery. The once critically acclaimed winery fell on difficult times during the 1980's, and the vineyards need to be replanted after being damaged by leaf roll disease.

Washington wine's gentle giant

Washington state winery Chateau Ste. Michelle is producing very good wines. Its newer Merlots and Cabernet Sauvignons are greatly improved, and its whites are also much better. The winery is owned by Stimson Lane Wine and Spirits Ltd.
