Tasting tawny port
Article Abstract:
Tawny ports are the perfect after-meal or dessert wine, though they remain underproduced and very hard to find. That is because they are difficult and expensive to make, especially aged ones. Several are assessed in a Nov 1995 tasting, with the 1983 Niepoort Tawny Port Colheita coming out on top.

Vintage port
Article Abstract:
As good as the 1991 vintage ports were the 1992 vintage ports may have been even better. The Fonseca port is the best it has been in 15 years, with the Taylor Fladgate port rating right behind it. The editor's choice nod goes to the Quinta do Vesuvio.
