Inglenook in the Napa Valley, CA, produced some of the best and enduring red wines during a thirty year period from 1933. The estate's owner John Daniel Jr. had many skills, but financial difficulties led to him selling the estate and its wines have never achieved the same quality.

Troubled times for Inglenook and BV
Article Abstract:
Heublein-Grand Met-IDV owns the troubled BV, Inglenook and Christian Brothers wineries. Reorganization and consolidation will mean that Christian Brothers and Inglenook will not have functioning wineries in Napa Valley, CA.
