Article Abstract:
The continued arrival of immigrants to the US has resulted in the proliferation of cookbooks dealing with the various ethnic cuisines. A total of twenty-four cookbooks on these cuisines are discussed, including Brazilian, Asian, African, Caribbean and Mexican cookbooks.

Should chefs write cookbooks?
Article Abstract:
Cookbooks produced by chefs who are interested mainly in self-promotion are little use as genuine cooking tools. These books are not usable unless they are very carefully edited by somebody who has a detailed knowledge of cooking.
