The building that was occupied by The Scotsman newspaper near Edinburgh's historic Old Town, has been reopened as The Scotsman Hotel. Features of the new hotel include a mix of traditional armchairs with modern laptop computers and interactive televisions, a top-floor suite with a sauna and a gas barbecue on its terrace, and Room 399, which serves 399 different varieties of malt whisky.
