The do's and dont's of tasting menu, which though provides chefs a status of benevolent dictator but is a tedious process, are discussed. The comments from the chefs of famous restaurants regarding the monetary advantage of tasting menu and the advantage of food prepared from the leftovers from the kitchen are presented.
