A sacred trust
Article Abstract:
The American Legion trust are trust which provide valuable service to veterans and needy which even the government does not provide and are highly placed donation providers, but was overseen by the newspapers and ignored. The ignorance was due to the fact that the organizations of newspapers come under moral obligation of only those who believe in their work and trust them.

Boxcars symbolize friendship
Article Abstract:
In 1989, members of the American Legion in Cheyenne, Wyoming completed the restoration of a box-car that was an important part of wartime history. The box-car had been part of the so-called Merci Train, which the French people had sent to the US laden with gifts, to thank the American people for the food and clothing sent to them during World War II.

American Legion National Commander Daniel E. Ludwig reports that Legionnaires continue to support the activities of US troops at home and in Bosnia. According to him, Post members should make business contacts, promote holidays and volunteer to maintain an active and satisfying life.
