Imagination begets reality. A grandmother, once a teacher, finds truth in the saying when her imaginary box, concocted to lure pranksters among her pupils to deposit their toys for safekeeping, finally materializes as a finely crafted box, a product of her son's expert hands.

Berlin's forgotten treasure

The Pergamon Museum's Hellenistic collection was discovered in 1868 by Carl Humann. Transported to and reassembled in Berlin in the same year, the collection will be the centerpiece of the merged art collections of East and West Germany, to be housed on Museum Island.
