Aspirin and colon cancer

Research conducted by the American Cancer Society revealed that aspirin may prevent colon cancer. Several theories are being considered to account for this phenomena, one of which says that aspirin hampers the release of prostaglandins that may stimulate growth of cancer cells in the intestines.
