Sunbathing and excessive exposure to the sun can lead to skin cancer. It is advisable to use a sunscreen with an SPF 15 or higher when swimming or sunbathing. Tanning booths and sunlamps should also be avoided because they promote premature aging and increases the risk of skin cancer.
