CSI Effect
Article Abstract:
Television is such an influence that it is common for prosecutors to ask members of a jury about the shows they watch. The CSI and such other television shows might have some impact on juries, but it shows what is possible forensically, not what commonly happens, and according to a presiding judge, viewing habits do influence jurors, as although he has never seen the show, he is well aware of the CSI effect in his courtroom.
