Can tribes coexist even in America?

Ethic co-existence is possible in America, according to David Maybury-Lewis, co-founder of a global ethnic-support group. Multiculturalism and tolerance for other people's way of life are cited as probable reasons. The possibility of co-existence within a pluralistic society is discussed.

The concept of leadership has changed over the years with lesser emphasis on heroism. People are starting to see leaders as complex, vulnerable, dependent and adaptable. An important factor in the shift in hero concept is the mass media's influence on the public's perceptions of leaders.
