Article Abstract:
Wei Jingsheng is the son of a China's Ministry of Construction bureaucrat and a party leader. Although once a part of the Red Guards, Jingsheng soon woke up to the harsh realities of Communism and has since clamored for democracy. After having been imprisoned for 15 years, Jingsheng was rearrested in 1994.
