The brutal ax murders of Andrew and Abby Borden on Aug 4, 1892 in Fall River, MA, remain officially unsolved. The case remains one of the most famous in US history. Even though Lizzie Borden was tried and acquitted, most crime scholars believe she was guilty.

Born to paint New England

Artist Janet Fish grew up in a very artistic family in Connecticut and wanted to become an abstract painter when she discovered the joy of painting New England landscapes. Today she lives half the year in Vermont, recreating the life of her neighbors.

Lois Dodd has been a respected New York artist since the 1950s, and still teaches at Brooklyn College, but does most of her painting near her farm in Maine. She is most famous for her series of paintings on windows.
