Pennsylvania Gov. Robert Casey has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called amyloidosis. With the love and support of his family and the expertise of Dr. Thomas E. Starzl, Casey successfully underwent a heart- liver transplant, donated by the family of a boy who was beaten to death.
