The ill effects of an herbicide known as Agent Orange, which was sprayed by the United States on Vietn am during the war, are described. Vietnamese are haunted by the Agent Orange's effect on their physical health, as it is linked to cancer and birth defects that can be lodged in human DNA and be passed from generation to generation.
