The Plympton House was first built by Rev Ezra Sampson in 1776, the year the US was founded, just five miles from Plymouth Rock. In 1856, the home became an inn and was operated by the Briggs family until 1982. Its current owners gave it an extensive restoration and are looking to sell it for $374,500.
