Geronimo!
Article Abstract:
Geronimo was an Apache warrior who fought the US Army in the Apache Wars that began in the 1860s as increasing numbers of white settlers invaded Indian lands. He made peace in 1872 but renewed fighting when the government broke promises about reservations. He died a captive in 1909.
