Tecumseh: he tried to unite the Indians

Tecumseh was a Shawnee Indian warrior who tried to unite the Indian tribes of the US in the early 1800s to stop white settlers from taking Indian lands. His plan was defeated by the Battle of Tippecanoe, and he was killed during the Battle of Thames in 1813.
