Motion picture re-edits, restored copies, color and sound-enhanced as well as director's cut versions have been some of the marketing trends used by the film industry to keep the promotional buzz going. One of the surprising turns has included a movie fan's editing of George Lucas' "The Phantom Menace", renamed "The Phantom Edit" with twenty minutes from the original edited out.
