In search of Ben Franklin's road
Article Abstract:
The original Boston Post Road was originally used in the 17th century by mail carriers on horseback between Boston and New York, and was traveled on by Ben Franklin and George Washington. Remnants of the road still exist and is identified by stone markers Franklin himself placed.

Motoring the Mohawk Trail
Article Abstract:
The Mohawk Trail, running 63 miles through western Massachusetts, is one of the oldest officially designated scenic auto routes in the US. It is a beautiful route seemingly frozen in time, and one of the best places to see the region's beautiful fall foliage.
