Keeping seniors from their doctors

The Medicare provisions which seeks to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for senior citizens are the same provisions which inhibit many senior citizens from getting the best health care possible. Many senior citizens are being held from getting additional tests suggested by physicians since they won't be covered by Medicare.

The number of robberies in Richmond, VA, dropped 21% in 1998 from 1997 and the homicide level fell 33% following the introduction of Project Exile, aimed at imposing mandatory penalties against anyone found with an illegal gun. The project is described.
