The television series 'Ethics in America' aired during the 1980s featured guests who discussed ethical questions posed by a moderator. The most memorable episode was the one sponsored by Montclair State College in 1987, where former soldiers talked about the moral dilemmas of their job.

Part of the stress of living in a nation where the gap between the rich and all others is widening, is the attempt to maintain an unattainable lifestyle. The greatest social problem that arises is a drastic decrease in savings, with its added pressures of high indebtedness.
