The history of a mansion in Boston, MA, that was built in 1738 and is for sale is presented. The mansion, once owned by Sampson Wilder, is believed to have been considered as a safe haven by Napoleon after his defeat in 1815. However, the Marquis de Lafayette was a guest at the house.
