Medicine woman
Article Abstract:
A professor of nursing at Penn States, Mona Counts believes that health care providers often forget how to care for the sick, and that they do not take the time to really listen to their patients. Counts opened a small clinic in the small Appalachian village of Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, where, as a nurse practitioner, she treats patients with modest incomes.
