The significance of Veterans Day and the countless individuals who served in past wars will remain fresh even in times of peace through military symbols. Among the more famous symbols of the nation's proud military tradition are the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, Golden Knights and the veterans themselves.

The GI Bill of Health is being touted as the solution to the Dept. of Veterans' Affairs' (VA) aging health care system. The bill would allow veterans and their families to use VA care. It would also provide free care for veterans with service-connected disability rated 50% or higher.
