The military approach to psychological motivation is a study in hypocrisy. It teaches men to love and care for each other and to form bonds unknown in society, but it denigrates the real act of love between men. How one soldier dealt with his homosexuality is described.

Men and women lie to each other for a variety of reasons. However, studies show that men tend to tell ego-associated lies. Men usually lie to either build themselves up or to hide some unpleasant truth.
