Tom and Ray Magliozzi are automobile mechanics who also have a witty radio show, 'Car Talk,' on National Public Radio. Both men graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The brothers agree that mechanics need training as well as aptitude.

Scouts at Pearl Harbor
Article Abstract:
The Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor fifty years ago killed many civilians and military personnel. Local boy scouts rallied to help Civilian Defense workers to set up first-aid stations. Many of the boy scouts were of Japanese descent.

Custer's last stand

Custer was a US Army cavalry leader who died in the Battle of the Little Bighorn, the last Indian victory against white forces. Custer's regiment was outnumbered in the battle, and he greatly underestimated the Indian fighters.
