New Medicare drug program
Article Abstract:
Medicare prescription-drug plan continues to be a great benefit for seniors, and it is estimated that more than 25 million Americans have coverage under this plan, as the new program is showing real savings with more beneficiaries paying far less for their medications. However, though the plan is designed to offer life-saving drugs at reasonable prices, critics believe that it is too complicated and confusing, and many seniors have found their coverage held up as the complex program overcomes pharmacists.

The restrictive gun laws have backfired in Britain, which is a big lesson for the United States. The tightening of weapons restrictions has left millions of British people with no way to protect themselves and hence, individual safety has taken a backseat to the political preference of order and power.

The issues regarding changing the Social Security from a social-insurance program into a forces-savings program are discussed. The main aim of the Social Security program should be to provide a basic level of subsistence to the elderly and making benefits equal for all.
