The historic frigate Constitution, dubbed 'Old Ironsides" for her seemingly invincible hull, will celebrate her 200th anniversary on Oct 21, 1997 at her home in Boston, MA. The frigate has undergone a number of restorations since 1830. The Constitution beat the British Guerriere in August 1812.
